Kabul, the economic and cultural center of Afghanistan, is situated 5,900 ft (1800 m) above sea level in a narrow valley, wedged between the Hindu Kush mountains along the Kabul river.
The population of the 3,500 year old city is approximately 3 million. The old part of Kabul is filled with bazaars nestled along its narrow crooked streets.
this card was sent to me by an American soldier, and it has gone to USA from Afghanistan and then came to Iran, that’s why it has US stamp :)
